Book Club
Champion: The Comeback Tale of the American Chestnut Tree.
August 2nd-6th from 1-2 pm, Ages 11-14 years
Find out how the American Chestnut was brought back from the brink of extinction. Learn about who worked to identify and stop the blight that was destroying the American Chestnut and how they did it.  This week long program is perfect for those who love to learn and try new activities.

Wrap up the week with a SPECIAL GUEST:  Forest Ranger Virkler Friday, August 6th at 1 pm    All are welcome! Registration Required

Illustrator Visit!
August 12th @1 pm, Ages 5-18 years
Local illustrator, Bernie Hurlbut visits OPL for a free animal drawing workshop. Mr. Hurlbut will discuss illustrating and even draw a picture just for you!

Science Exploration Day!
August 18th @ 4 & 5:30pm

The Museum of Science and Technology will be on site at the Oneida Library for two special programs!

4 pm Fantastic Forces (Sports and games) Ages 8 +, Register here.

LEGO Robotics!
August 23-26 from 10 am-3 pm, Grades 6-8

IT’S BACK!! Our partnership with Griffiss Air Force Base continues with an exciting and educational robotics program. Participants will learn to build, code and compete with Lego Robots. Space limited, registration required.
