On Tuesdays in August from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. (August 6-27), OPL’s Megan Gillander will conduct the Summer Reading Program’s Space Camp in which children 5 to 13 years old will be involved in books, crafts, puzzles and team projects that reflect a “universe of stories.” Among the activities, participants will create a scale replica of our Solar System, decipher messages from outer space, imagine a new constellation and plan for space travel. Parents need to sign-up their children for Space Camp at the OPL Circulation Desk.
