New Library’s outline takes shape

459 Main Street, August 8, 2019. Awaiting the pouring of concrete to make the foundation’s frost wall, this week steel rebars have been embeded into a concrete base while forms or molding frames are being erected to contain the poured concrete.
For reinforcement, steel rebars earlier this week were placed into the base concrete slabs of the frost wall, as seen in this view facing east towards Elizabeth St. (August 8, 2019).
As seen facing north, forms up to the height of ground level are in place in preparation for concrete pouring later this week (August 8, 2019).
